Background

Originally from Wisconsin, Jon has lived in the Seattle area for over 16 years.  Prior to relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Jon graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 1991.  Immediately after graduating he was introduced to a career in journalism and took a position with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.  His goals soon changed and in 1995 he made the decision to move to Seattle where he took a position as a legal research assistant with a prosperous civil litigation firm. In 1999 he graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Psychology and in 2001 was accepted to Seattle University's School of Law where he graduated in 2004. 

After graduating from the Seattle University School of Law, he took a position with the Yakima County Prosecutor's Office where he was assigned to the District Court Division prosecuting misdemeanors. Soon thereafter he was promoted to the felony division and prosecuted juvenile offenders in Yakima County Superior Court. After a successful career working as a prosecutor, Mr. Lewis took a position as a public defender for the City of Yakima.   In 2008, his career took a different course and he accepted a position as civil litigator with a successful firm in Seattle, Washington where he practiced before becoming a founding member of his current firm. 

Through his career, Jon has been an advocate for clients in a variety of criminal matters ranging from serious violent felonies to misdemeanors to traffic tickets.  He has also found success in representing clients in personal injury matters ranging from automobile accidents to workplace injuries.  Regardless of the nature of the case, Jon is careful to listen to his client and have a clear understanding of their needs to ensure a positive outcome for their particular and individual case.   

Jon is a firm believer in following instincts and setting reasonable goals to make himself a better attorney.  This philosophy transfers directly to his clients as they seek the advice and skills of someone who will fight for their rights and feels comfortable in a courtroom arguing their position before a judge or jury.
